Hannan Carmeli
Founder & CEO

Carmeli has vast and multi-disciplinary experience in hi-tech companies. Served recently as an Operating Consultant with the private equity firm Francisco Partners involved in acquisition and value creation of Israeli portfolio companies. Prior to that served as Director of International Activity of the Israeli Innovation Authority (formerly Office of Chief Scientist) - a government agency overseeing the Hi-Tech and innovation ecosystem in Israel. Prior to this Carmeli served as the President and Co-CEO of ClickSoftware (publicly traded - NASDAQ) leading the company for over 16 years to become global leader in workforce management and service optimization. Carmeli graduated the Naval Academy & Advance Maritime Command School with commendation. Served as Patrol Boat Commander, and second-in-command of a Missile Corvette. Carmeli holds a BSc degree in computer science from the Technion and is a graduate of Boston University.

Nir Gartzman
Founder & COO

Nir Gartzman is a maritime, hi-tech and clean-tech professional combining strong technical capabilities with broad industry background and business development experience. Nir earned his proficiency during 10 years of management positions in both navy and civilian sectors. Responsibilities included positions of Chief Engineer of a navy vessel, superintendent of cargo ships, project manager in charge of hardware and software integrations and sales & business development manager for a multinational medical device vendor. Nir holds a B.A degree in business management from the IDC - Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center.

Noa Schuman
CMO

Noa Schuman is a communications and marketing professional, experienced with developing and implementing global marketing strategies, building customer and investor communities and relations, driving engagement, retention and advocacy. Noa spent most of her career in agile hi-tech software companies, managing investor relations for a SaaS company traded on NASDAQ, leading external and internal communications through significant company transformations and organization changes, building customer reference programs and online communities. Noa holds a B.A. degree in Communications and English Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is a certified Investor Relations Manager from University of California, Irvine.

Jesper Præstensgaard

Jesper Praestensgaard is a senior executive with 30 years of experience from the shipping and logistics industry, including 25 years with the A.P. Møller Maersk Group and 3 years with Hapag-Lloyd. Currently serves as a non-executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Unifeeder A/S, the largest common feeder operator in Europe, as well as a Senior Advisor at the Boston Consulting Group in their global shipping and logistics practice.
Mr. Praestensgaard holds an MBA (Honors) from IMD and has attended several executive programs over the years with different business schools including Harvard Business School, INSEAD, Penn State University and University of Michigan.

Yigal Jacoby

Yigal Jacoby is a veteran investor and mentor to many startups and has vast experience in identifying high potential leadership teams and innovative ideas.

An entrepreneur by his own rights, he co-founded Allot Communications (NASDAQ: ALLT) in 1996 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until March 2006.

Mr. Jacoby served as General Manager of Bay Network's Network Management Division in Santa Clara, from 1996 to 1997. Prior to that he founded Armon Networking, a manufacturer of RMON-based network management solutions, which was sold to Bay Networks.

Shaul Chorev

Shaul Chorev is a retired Rear Admiral from the Israeli Navy and a Professor in the International Relation division in the School of Political Science the University of Haifa. In the University of Haifa Corev is also the director of Haifa Maritime Center for Policy & Strategy researches. Chorev is a lecturer on Maritime Strategy and Israel Defense Policy, International Security and Arms Control Technology Transfer and Innovation Systems in the Defense Laboratories. Chorev is the former Head of the Israel Atomic Energy Commission (2007 – 2015).  He has held central positions in the Israeli defense establishment including Assistant to the Minister of Defense for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense; Deputy Chief of Naval Operations; Commanding Officer of the Haifa Naval Base and Commanding Officer of an Israeli Naval Flotilla (missile boats & submarines).In 1989 – 1992 Chorev was the project manager of the Dolphin Submarines Project in the German Shipyards (HDW & TNSW). Chorev holds a BA in Economics and Political Sciences from Bar Ilan University (1985), MSc. from the United States Naval Postgraduate School (1989) and Ph.D. from Bar Ilan University in Science Technology and Society (2005).

Arie Gavish

Arie Gavish is an experienced executive of port operations and regulation. For the past 10 years Gavish serves as the Haifa Port Manager on behalf of Israel’s Shipping & Ports Administration (Ministry of Transportation). Prior to this he was the CEO of the port of Ashdod – Israel’s main port which handles 20M tons of cargo annually by 1200 employees generating $200M of annual revenues. Gavish is also a Captain (Ret.) of the Israeli Navy which served in his last position as the Israeli naval attaché to the United States. Prior to this he served in various commanding roles including Commanding Officer of missile frigates and auxiliary ships, head of weapon system branch, head of command staff naval academy, head of naval operations department and commanding officer of the Israeli Navy Red-Sea base.

Gavish is a graduate of the Army Academy for National Security and holds an MA degree

in political science from Haifa University and BA in History from Tel Aviv University.

Omri Dagul

Omri Dagul is a retired Rear Admiral of the Israeli Navy. He has invaluable and intrinsic naval and maritime knowledge, which is coupled with extensive experience in corporate and operational ship building and ship maintenance sectors. As owner and CEO of “Dockport” Ltd. Dagul and his team provide consultancy and project management services to global shipping and port companies as well as Defense Industries. Dagul is also an Executive Vice President at Ray Shipping Ltd. Overseeing it’s new ship building initiative. His responsibilities include implementation of the company’s strategy as well as full management, supervision and construction of ships in shipyards around the globe. Prior to his retirement from the navy, Dagul’s last position was Head of Materiel Command in the Israeli Navy. He managed a large, complex multidisciplinary techno-logistic alliance, which included project development of marine platforms and weapon systems (for surface, ships and submarines), as well as overseeing and supervising engineering work, commanding of Navy shipyards, logistics and maintenance centers. In addition, Dagul has served as Technical Team Leader of the Dolphin Submarines Project in the German Shipyards. Omri Dagul id an MSc graduate in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan USA, and a BSc, in Mechanical Engineering from the Haifa Technion, Israel.

Carmit Hoshen Glik 

Carmit Hoshen Glik currently serves as the CEO and Managing Director of Cogoport Europe BV., an innovative digital end to end ocean freight platform. Carmit has over 18 years of executive international shipping and logistics experience in global companies such as A.P Moller Maersk and Damco. She has managed large logistics operations in Israel, China, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands. Carmit has also served as an advisory to PaKet Project aiming to decentralize global express logistics using Blockchain and Smart Contracts. These days Carmit is on a mission to enable the Shipping and Logistics industry by innovation and believes the future of the industry is in the hands and minds of companies we have yet heard of. Carmit holds a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University and an Executive MBA from INSEAD
